The College of Nursing Departments

      The college of nursing has six different departments which include the following:

  1. Fundamentals of Nursing Department    

It is specialized in teaching Fundamentals of Nursing and Medical Terminology courses for the first year students through two different semesters.

  1. Adult Nursing Department

It is specialized in teaching Adult Nursing course for the second year students through two different semesters.

  1. Basic Medical Sciences Department

It is specialized in teaching basic medical topics such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Microbiology, Parasitology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Clinical chemistry, Nutrition and others which considered as essential and supporting for nursing specialties through two different semesters. These topics are presented through two different semesters.

  1. Maternal Child Nursing Department

       It is specialized in teaching Maternal and Child Nursing for third year students through one semester.

  1. Pediatric Nursing Department

It is specialized in teaching Pediatric Nursing and some related topics such as Growth and Development for third year students through one semester.

  1. Psycho-Mental  Health Nursing Department

      It is specialized in teaching Psycho-Mental Health Nursing for fourth year students through one semester.

  1. Community Health Nursing Department

      It is specialized in teaching Community Health Nursing for fourth year students through one semester.
